HCZW in the Community

What we do

Thanks to funding from Auckland Council, Hibiscus Coast Zero Waste have been involved with and organised many community events. Workshops with our local libraries allowed us to educate the community about simple ways to reduce waste and join in with hands on activities teaching practical skills to live more sustainable. HCZW took on the roll to provide the community with education and information about the food scrap bins and most recently the new landfill bins with Auckland Council.

We hope to continue this work with our community in 2026
